Public Hearing – July 6, 2022: New Bedford Route 9X – Intercity Express
Effective June 27, 2022, the New Bedford Route 9X – Intercity Express service is eliminated. The service was funded by a grant, which has not been renewed and without a sustainable funding source, the route was taken out of service.
SRTA has prepared a full report detailing the reasons for the service change and the findings of the Title VI Service Change Equity Analysis. The report is available here:
SRTA is holding a virtual public meeting to collect comments from the public regarding the elimination of service on the NB9X. Comments can be made during the virtual public hearing on July 6, 2022.
