New Bedford Route Detours – Thursday, November 11, 2021

Due to the Veteran’s Day Parade in New Bedford, several routes will be detoured briefly during the parade. Once the parade and ceremonies at the reviewing stand in from of the Downtown Main Library are complete and the roads are re-opened to traffic the route detours will end and regular scheduled routing will be followed.

The following routes will be detoured:

New Bedford Route 3 – Dartmouth Street

Outbound

There will be no service on Union Street or Rotch Street. Service will leave the terminal on Sixth Street, take a right on School Street, left on County Street, right on Hawthorn Street, left on Page St to return to normal outbound route.

Inbound

There will be no service Rotch Street or Union Street. Leaving St. Luke’s Hospital the route will turn right on Hawthorn Street, left on County Street, right on Spring Street, left on Pleasant Street, right on Union Street, left on Second Street, left on Elm Street, left on Sixth Street into New Bedford SRTA Terminal.

New Bedford Route 1 – Fort Rodman

Outbound

No detour, the route will be followed as scheduled.

Inbound

From Pleasant Street the route will turn right on Union Street, turn left on Second Street, left on Elm Street, left on Sixth Street into New Bedford SRTA Terminal.

New Bedford Route 5 – South Central

Outbound

No detour, the route will be followed as scheduled.

Inbound

Route will remain on Second Street and turn left on Elm Street, left on Sixth Street into New Bedford SRTA Terminal.
